Breznik
Breznik is a small town in Western Bulgaria, 50 km away from Sofia and 18 km from the district center Pernik. The relief in the municipality Breznik is varied, the climate is moderate continental.
To the northeast the valley borders Viskyar Mountain, and to the south and southwest it reaches Lubach and Cherna Gora mountains.
The territory of the municipality is crossed by small rivers such as the Svetlya, the Konska, the Mala Reka.
There are micro-dam lakes in many of the population centers, namely Begounovtsi, Slakovtsi, Konska, Izvor and Breznik. Many of the dams have been granted under concessions and are used for fish breeding, irrigation, tourism.
