The village of Anton is located in the northern part of the Zlatitsa-Pirdop kettle, 8 km northeast from Pirdop and 90 km east from the capital Sofia.It is a municipality centre. Zlatitsa-Teteven mountain, part of Middle Balkan mountain, spreads its steep slopes to the valley. The view to the mountain peaks of the main Balkan ridge is unforgettable. The climate is continental with mountain influence.
The most interesting cultural heritage is the ruins of the oldest monastery in these lands-dating from IV century.
The dam of Dushantsi is only 3 km from the village and it is built on the Topolnitsa river.
